Eco Holiday

A well-planned two-acre mushroom farm at Taman Pelangi is founded by Mr. Ooi Ching Kiau and his wife Mrs. Cheng Poh Guat. This place is a hot tourist spot especially to the Singaporeans. After their unremitting research in cultivating mushroom over the years, a wide range of health supplement and food products were developed such as Lingzhi capsules, Lingzhi essence, canned mushroom, 3in1 coffee and other mushroom products.

Another 20-acre mushroom farm in Tumbuk is an eye-opening destination. Besides Lingzhi, there are many other various species of mushrooms such as oyster mushrooms, black fungus and more. There will be a dedicated guide along the visit to explain the process of mushrooms cultivation.

Walking past the wood dust piles, fermentation for the mushroom is about to take place. Workers bag up the wood dust, which will then be sterilised. Mushrooms in the cultivation room are growing at different stages: some just start to cultivate, some are fully grown and the rest is ready to be harvested. The mushrooms are telling a story to the visitors about how magnificently the living plants can grow and survive on the planet earth.

The beachside resort at Ganofarm commands a fine view. There is plenty of entertainment for guests including drinking at the beer garden, karaoke and enjoying the grilled fish. It is not only the facilities that attract more and more visitors, but also the natural environment. Tour packages are also available with accommodation and meals included at a good value.
